CMS being a commercial organization charges its client for services delivered. CMS has however also supported issues and organizations committed to poverty alleviation or health issues by offering its services at no cost. The recipients have usually been voluntary or community based organizations. The unpaid support services include strategic planning, developing and establishing customized monitoring systems, business development activities for voluntary organizations etc. Some of the pro-bono initiatives of CMS are:
  • Information system revamp for Swamy Vivekananda Youth Movement
  • Sustainability plan for Rural Oriented Health Initiatives (ROHINI)
  • Costing of services for a rural hospital in Sargur, Karnataka for Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement.
  • Diabetic support group for children and parents of children suffering from type 1 diabetic.
  • Strategic planning and organizational development for 'Shristi' - an organization working for mentally-challenged individuals in Madurai districts of Tamil Nadu.
  • Preparation of an HIV/AIDS strategy for Bangalore city.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In 2002 CMS with some of its partners set up Catalyst Development Initiatives (CDI), a registered not-for profit society. The focus of CDI includes:
